Party Wall Services
It is a point of law that you must give your neighbours notice before starting work if it is within 3 meters of the boundary to their property. Getting this wrong could delay your build and make your project more costly.
This is set out in the Party Wall Act 1996; a piece of legislation that helps to ensure one person’s building works doesn't adversely affect a neighbour’s property.
Under a Party Wall Agreement, the works that can be done are specified in advance and progress is monitored to ensure they are being correctly carried out.

Our Party Wall Service
Our Party Wall Service is undertaken by a qualified Party Wall Surveyor, and includes the serving of a full notice to the adjoining owner and carrying out a detailed Schedule of Condition their property.
The Schedule of Condition records the state of the premises prior to any work being carried out, so that any damage which may be caused by the work can be properly identified and corrected.
What our surveyors do:
- Prepare and serve the requisite notice to your neighbour(s)
- Arrange for a full photographic record of the condition of the adjoining ownder property- the Schedule of Condition.
